ER Recruiting Timeline

Hey guys. Does anyone have a timeline for recruiting for ER. I saw someone post similarly on the IB forum the banks that are still recruiting so I wanted to know if anyone has a similar list for ER. Anything would be appreciated.

Most recruiting for ER generally happens the same time during banking; by that I mean, anywhere from May to December each year.

It obviously depends on the firm but because ER has substantially less spots than IB, I’d expect the process to be overall less structured. Some banks also lump ER SA in with their IB SA applications. But in general, ER is the same time than IB but there is definitely less coverage on WSO for it since you’re talking about a handful of ER interns for even the largest banks

Probably the same. IB has more people applying but also more spots, whereas ER may have less people applying than IB but significantly less available spots.

Often times, SA classes for ER will not exceed a handful of people for even the largest banks which makes it very challenging to get a spot.

ER recruiting has hardly started yet. There's a few banks that recruit in the Spring, but the vast majority recruit in the late summer and fall.
