Heard incoming 1st year associates (from undergrad, so equivalent to 1st year analysts if it was IB) at my bank are getting increased base pay. Will that translate to increased pay for current associates? Or will they keep pay the same for current associates and only increase pay for new hires? I know IB increased the salary for new and current employees, so hopefully ER does the same for current associates.
