Am I getting an offer? Nondiversity event
I had an interview last Friday for a summer analyst position. Interviewed by 2 people and it went really well (in my opinion I guess). Sent thank you emails later than evening and that was that.
I got a response from one of the recruiters saying she’ll be in contact with me as soon as she can regarding the next steps (this was Monday) and on Tuesday another recruiter emailed everyone telling them that they hope the interviews went great and sent us a link to another app.
It was obviously a holiday yesterday and the recruiters have been taking vacations recently (they told me, and one is probably still on vacation I imagine).
I’m just thrown off because I don’t want to assume I got it and I was also given a link to another application so idk... maybe they liked me but not for that position? I am just confused.

I have another offer already, but this is my first choice if I were to get it.
I’m assuming it’s not an offer until I get something official, but I figured they wouldnt respond at all.
And I was more so asking to see if anyone has went through something similar.
Is this for a FO IBD role and was the interview with the 2 interviews the final interview? I'd be pretty surprised if your final interview was conducted by only 2 interviewers.

Wait I'm confused as well. Was this your super day or do you have more interviews coming up? How many rounds of interviews have you had already? At this stage there is zero indication of whether or not you have an offer at all. Also, if the recruiter e-mailed **everyone **with a link to another app, I doubt you can draw any conclusion at all from that.
It was my superday (I forgot to clarify that). It was the 4th round (if you count the hirevue).
I’ve been interacting with the firm for about 2 months networking wise.
Usually people get offers within like 5 days in my experience, but they said a week or 2 (don’t they always say that?). And none of the people I added on LinkedIn from the event posted about getting an offer (there’s also a few)....
And not to toot my own horn, but I aced those interviews.
Thanks for clarifying. To be honest, I don't think the "we'll be in touch" has much swing in either direction. If I were you, I'd reach out to the other people who interviewed and ask them if they've heard anything back at all. I doubt they'd post anything onto their social media if they did receive an offer (I'm not putting my 2019 SA position on linkedin/my resume until March/April).
