Applying for Internships on a Different School's Job Listings

Hi monkeys,

I am a sophomore at a non-Ivy target school. Recently, I was able to get access to a top Ivy's job listings. This might be a naive question, but how do I take advantage of this opportunity? Many of these positions are available through the companies' websites as well, with some postings only on that Ivy's job listings. Considering that a lot of these postings are probably also on my target school's job listings, is it really that beneficial to have access to another target school's job database?

Thanks.

how are you able to get access to other school job listing? I thought you need a legitimate Email ID and password of that university.

Did you use your friends account and password or something?

Nothing wrong with using the listing to your advantage - the biggest advantage is knowledge what other firms are hiring analysts that you may not have previously known about.

Obviously you can't apply through the university listing - but you can reach out to recruiters of analysts at those firms and network with them for a chance at a spot.
