Are Moelis hours still bad?

The title says it all. I got a lateral offer for Moelis NYC in one of their coverage/M&A groups. I already have 1 year of experience at a BB and I'm thinking of doing a year at Moelis, then just going to PE after. Just wanted to gauge if the hours are still 100+ each week on a frequent basis. Any insight is welcome here.

You are a laid off analyst without a PE offer debating taking an offer from an EB beause you're concerned about hours, but you want to recruit for PE? Am I missing anything here?

Look man, all these people in the comments are pulling a fast one on you.

They are telling you the hours are bad just so you won’t take it and they’ll have a chance to take the offer.

The hours are most likely 9-6 (pm to am) (source: my third cousin applied for SA) with a bit more happening near Hanukkah (steal market share from Jews)

Is this even true? Hcs can’t be that bad I’m sure. Like what even makes jt so intense
