Made a couple of typos in my first email to a staff (ibd). Does it really matter for reputation as it's just an email? Just a bit nervous—or am I just paranoid?

Career Resources
Going forward, just proof-read your own message before sending it. It takes only a few seconds but may have an impact in how you may be perceived.
If your eyesight isn't ideal, I would take care of that sooner rather than later.
Read everything three times before you hit send.
Yes, its a bit paranoid that one email will hurt your reputation.
But make sure you learn how to deliver mistake-free content. Its often what sets interns or analysts apart. Because most of them will mentally be capable of understanding things, they just lack execution.
Typos in email matter. Just slow down, re-read everything. If its an important email, print it out and read it.
chat gpt / grammarly
highly recommend using grammerly, making sure spell check is on outlook, and re-reading emails carefully before you hit send
put an xxxdlkjfdf or something into your cc line before you start every email and outlook won't let it send, it reminds me to reread everything one more time.
What is a "staff?" A staffer you mean?
The bad thing about first impressions is that they are very hard to shake. Based on the thread title, I assume everything in your post is a typo.
Just move on and be more careful. One typo won't sink your career.
Na, not staffer ("staff" as in employee)
It's "Nah," not "Na."
Take a deep breath, learn from it and move forward.
You got this.
Just to reiterate what others have said. One email cannot derail your career or hurt your reputation. However, people are very fast in drawing conclusions in this job and first impressions matter A LOT. They would expect you to have all emails and other easy tasks mistake-free before you are handed more complex / important streams. It's super easy to mess up an email but equally easy to take a step back and proof read the damn thing before hitting send.
Not going to re-iterate the many great points and advice here. The one thing I would suggest is, I almost never hit send on a freshly drafted email (unless if it's truly a quick response). Most emails sit in draft for at least 15 minutes, I work on something else, then go back and read again.. For important emails, I read out loud..
Scrutiny increases from there for decks obviously, but same framework.. Always take a break then review.
