Most full time back office positions are unpaid. Some will offer you occasional lunch stipends though, of which you can pocket for profit.

Should be anywhere from 50-65k depending on firm/location plus sign on/performance bonus
From what I know, this year 55k + bonus for both Barclays and UBS
prob 55 base + 5-10 sign bonus
top BB's will pay Ops 60 +10 sign on..
50K at BlackRock in Delaware.
Noob question: What exactly is the difference betwen back and front office jobs? Besides pay, obviously.
back office is usually more prestigious and guarantees top MBA placement. everyone applies for these coveted back office jobs first. go for front office only after you fail all your back office interviews.
