Barclays Sophomore Springboard 2018
Hey guys!
Just wanted to create this thread because I do not believe there is one for the Barclays Springboard event for sophomores this year.
Wanted to see if anyone has heard back from Barclays? Hopefully we can share our timeline information. Post when you applied and if you have had a phone interview and when you heard back!
I applied on February 20th but have not heard anything yet besides completing my Koru!

Have you guys heard yet and do you know if Barclays does phone interviews? I am wondering when women will find out and then when diverse candidates will find out! :)
I applied to it a couple of weeks ago, hopefully we hear back soon. I'm probably dinged at this point though since my cover letter had another company's name in the recipient's address

I applied right before the deadline, and I just got an email from alumni saying that he wanna catch up. Not sure what's that call is about but at least heard back something.

Well he came to campus info session, but I have no personal connection with him. The wording he used in the email seems really casual, like “catch up with”, so I don’t know if it’s a interview or not.

They came to our school earlier this week. I asked the person I had a coffee chat with and she said they haven't started viewing resumes.

How does one check the status of their application? I'm having difficulty navigating their job portal and I don't think they are letting me view past applications.
log into your career portal and go to my applications page and it will show you with last updated

I go to a target and they just visited my school last week. received an email from one of the panelists. my app status is completed -- last updated 3 April 2018.

it says my app was updated april 4 but i just heard back today via email. I was able to find my app and I was accepted to IB and i don't know which event however because I am an LGBTQ female and i am unsure whether lgbtq is included with the ethnically diverse session or what

it was really chill. No technicals just resume, why IB, Why Barclays. Mine was with an alum so other than that we just talked about classes and stuff
had a "first round" with an alum on monday and he said id hear back on my status by friday

Yeah, I literally just got it 8-9 mins ago. And yeah it says there will be scheduled interviews on the second day that could lead to an "early offer for summer 2019".

I got accepted for the 17-18 but it did imply that not everyone who was invited was given an interview opportunity
Mine says acceptance for the program May 2-3 and then the interview will take place some time on May 3rd!

Yeah, I got an email from my mentor today. But I didn't get anything about 2019 SA program
is the may 2-3 only for women? I did the hirevue the 22nd but havent heard back yet. I got a reservation confirmation to a hotel in NYC for may 2-3 but im a minority dude so I thought it would be may 17-18. Anyone in the same boat?
Was it for the Row NYC hotel. If so I got that as well and was confused.
Oh wow I got this reservation as well and was so confused! I even called the hotel to figure out if it was a scam.
I didn't even do the hirevu because I accepted a different offer.

Email didn’t specify lgbt - just said sophomore springboard. I am male so I didn’t expect to be invited to the May 2nd-3rd days.
Not gonna disclose the person’s name but they seem to be part of the recruiting team.

I got confirmation regarding an interview on the second day of the program in my acceptance email and an email today asking to apply to the 2019 sa program before the interview

i just got invited and have an interview, i believe its for LGBT but it doesn't say (im a gay woman so could go either way) but the dates conflict with JPMorgan's Proud to Be interviews so I don't know whether I can go. Anyone know how likely a summer internship offer is for people who do the springboard?
