Battle of the Lower-Tier BBs

Curious how you monkeys would rank the lower-tier BBs. My rankings:

1) Citi

2) Barclays/UBS

3) DB

In terms of trajectory, can see Citi going up or down depending on how Fraser's RX goes, UBS/DB slightly up given recent hiring sprees, and Barclays down from losing their Lehman rainmakers and replacing them with weaker MM MDs.

Also, how much do exit opps vary across these banks? Is it more group/banker dependent?

Honestly not too worried about Citi or Barclays. Despite Citi and Barclays restructuring, they are still found on massive mandates at a much more consistent basis than UBS and DB. Barclays hires have also improved (see David King from BofA Tech, Ed Dunn from DB Telecoms, and Martin Douglass from MS Sponsors).

UBS hasn't found a lick of momentum despite its spending spree on MDs. And I haven't seen DB on a marquee mandate in years. Only time will tell
