CFI Courses are Complete Garbage
So I went out on a limb purchasing the CFI Financial Modeling course pack (FMVA) and am pretty disgusted with what I found. It didn’t take long to realize, while a small portion of the material (mostly the basic accounting) was halfway decent, the other 99.99% was absolute garbage.
Has anyone purchased programs from similar places (WSP, WSO, TTS) who could share their experience and make a recommendation? I’m about two seconds away from requesting a full refund and a time machine to forget I wasted precious hours on this shit.
Cheers
Hi StalkingHorse, whoops, looks like nobody chimed in here.... maybe one of these discussions below is relevant:

You're welcome.
Why all the hate, mate? I did the program and found it super easy to follow and really improved my Excel skills. You want to come into it with all the general knowledge required. Think of it as purely an EXCEL course for a highly specific purpose.
WSO is really good.
FinanceAble is great
ASimpleModel is cheap ($10/mo) and is all you need. Wall Street Prep if you have access to it.
Courses and certificates are kind of dumb. Learn the basics and then go try to model a company from scratch. Google problems as they come up.
