Cool trip ideas for in between job move

Hey guys posting anonymously. Disregard title. Did ~2 yrs as an analyst at a boutique after school and now moving to a MM as ib associate. Pretty pumped - big jump in comp for me. Working on pushing my start date out so I have time to do at least one cool trip in between. Wanted to hear if anyone has ideas on random stuff you’ve done that you’d recommend. Thinking of things like heli skiing in Jackson hole or something, but also would just chill at a cool beach spot. lmk!

Seperately, coming from a very small shop where the heirarchy was much different, I’d appreciate any tips on how to come in as an effective associate / what’s going to be expected right off the bat.

Thanks!!

Hey Analyst 2 in IB - ECM, what a lonely thread. I'm here since nobody responded ...so maybe one of these discussions will help:

Can you talk about how you were successful able to move from a boutique analyst position to a MM associate one?
