Credit Suisse Mobility
Does anyone have any thoughts on Credit Suisse's internal mobility. Could I switch coverage groups after a year if I perform well?

I'm from a target non-diversity (Brown, NYU, Vandy) and am interning next summer in one of the groups that pigeonhole you and am thinking of recruiting somewhere else FT or switching groups
You in FIG or REGAL?
Analyst at CS. Possible but normally after two years. Occasional lateral after 1 year but that's very need-based; the two year and lateral has happened a bunch before. After an SA its more possible (eg. this past year two switched into sponsors, two switch into industrials, one switched into M&A, and one to MT from the weaker groups to full-time)
how would you go about this, networking with other groups during your internship?

Echo what was said above about switching after 2 years being more viable, and I have only heard of switching after 1 year when the target group is low on analysts. Switching after the internship summer is very common
