CS NY or DB NY or BAML LA?
Not interested in PE exits. Prefer Industrials coverage but also interested in C&R. Know multiple MDs at CS. Which would you go for?

Career Resources
Industrials is one of strongest coverage groups at CS. any group at CS better than DB. BofA is also good but 3rd best in LA (to moelis and CS) so not a great look to be in tier 3 banking city at a non-top bank

NY and SF for Tech and maybe Healthcare are Tier 1

I would choose CS NY. I spoke with a senior banker at BofA LA, and he kept telling me to not apply there and to apply to New York. He said it was not a good place to be for junior bankers. He said that there are not nearly as many opportunities there if you decide banking or that office is not for you. Because of that, I would choose CS. You said you have relationships with multiple MDs, so I would definitely go with them. Idk anything about DB really besides that the one MD I knew there unadded me from LinkedIn for some reason smh.

By opportunities do you mean opportunities to work on deals or exit opps
that's what I was wondering bc all CS does is SPACs or levfin if LA while BAML has some M&A. not interested in exits but all I saw for CS GIG recently was a $20mm VC fund...
