Lmao, rejection letter just came in for me. Don’t know exactly why, but its Deutsche bank so not suprised.
It happened to me during SA recruiting last time. No idea how they review so fast if they do.
I mean Im non-target (maybe diversity, if being yellow counts at a german bank). No networking cus I don’t like DB as much personally…. Looks like the next CS if the economy were to come shitting down…. Anyways still going to network and just have fun with the bank but definitely not upset about this.

The only updates are the test but other than that nothing yet.
Seems odd they would reject people without first sending out R1s / SDs out

I just saw a person getting a full-time offer at DB for 2024 (interned at CS for summer analyst 2023) on Linkedin. I was told by staffers that interviews would start in October as well, so curious to if anyone has insight about this?
I saw some people getting offer for FT 2024 as well. Previously interned at other BBs or MMs.
So weird, was told by multiple people at the bank that they don’t start interviewing until late September/early October

DB is not done for FT, however the emails sent out today have been quite confusing.

Same thing happened to me today—got the SJT test with 10 days to complete, I was so happy. Then a few hours later I check and…multiple emails telling me the spot was filled for every single FT position I applied to.
so… the bbs this year recruited a total of like 5 people LOL
This years recruiting has been brutal asf. I can’t catch a break. There is literally no room for no one that is not from a target, had 5 internships, and its diversity or sum.
