DB Lev Fin or Financial Sponsors

Currently deciding between leveraged finance group and financial sponsors at DB. Wondering if anyone had any insight on exit opps and culture/sweatiness of these groups?

DB Sponsors take almost nobody; I think it ranges from 1-3 a year. LevFin takes way more, would choose LevFin is solely trying to game the system, if you're gonna get sponsors you will know from your conversations since it's so selective. They also basically choose kids only from targets again due to the fact they have fewer spots.

Exits are basically the same, but think sponsors are slightly better for generalist PE, and sponsors get you exposure to products outside of purely LevFin so might be a slightly stronger experience if looking at PE exits. I left to PC, and think I do not regret choosing LevFin at all due to the aforementioned easier group to get but also because I enjoyed the debt side of things. Your experiences may vary of course.

I'm almost certain that this is false regarding juniors....reconnected with an AN1 recently and there was absolutely no indication of this happening.
