DB vs Stifel SA 2025

Offer for Summer 2025 IB at Stifel expires Friday at 5 pm. Considering the options between Stifel and Deutsche, any advice welcome. DB is much bigger but Stifel seems to have a unique culture I fit well with.

both new york, I am more connected and really like the people at DB but it has a more youre just another piece of the machine vibe

thats how I am feeling, would probably get more deal exposure / its a little more hands on at stifel cause smaller bank and interns take on more responsibility, but DB has the bulge bracket name. Thinking about return offer % too

You’re a washu sophomore. Don’t listen to this guy. Hasn’t even worked a SA yet, but is spreading false info about exit opps and ‘prestige’

Slight is an understatement. DB is historically a BB and although it has failed in terms of deal flow it still has more deal flow than Stifel. I think if it was DB vs a top MM like Jefferies or RBC maybe there would be a debate, but no way to say Stifel and DB have only a slight difference.

it is a complicated situation, for my school they can run accelerated rounds for competing offer kids. This is from what was explained to me, might be wrong
