Based on previous WSO threads, here's what you need to know about Evercore full-time interviews:

  1. Interview Duration and Format:

    • The interview seems to last for about 45 minutes.
    • It is known to be more technical compared to other firms.
  2. Technical Depth:

    • Expect a significant focus on technical questions. Evercore is reputed for its rigorous technical interviews.
  3. Types of Questions:

    • Behavioral Questions: These might include questions about your past experiences, leadership examples, and how you handle deadlines.
    • Technical Questions: Be prepared for in-depth technical questions. This could include financial modeling, valuation techniques, and possibly a modeling test.
  4. Preparation Tips:

    • Review financial modeling, DCF, M&A, LBO, and Comps.
    • Practice common technical questions and ensure you understand the underlying concepts thoroughly.

For more detailed preparation, consider using resources like the WSO Financial Modeling Series and other interview prep materials available on Wall Street Oasis.

Technicals are fine, it's an all-round interview I'd say – fit, behavioural, motivational, market sizing, technicals, commercial knowledge etc

They're doing them over the next few weeks I was told. Let me know how it goes and what they say on timeline!

The question is not easy compared to other Hirevue. But you got unlimited time in between 2 attempts so I would not say it is very rough. The response time can be up to 5 minutes so I would say try to say more in terms of those questions.
