Says it in the title, wondering if all banks follow up and require you to send them a resume after receiving a job offer?

If they ask on the official web application that you filled out when you got your offer, then they'll verify it when they request your transcript. If they only asked for your school in that application, and your GPA was on your resume but was never on an electronically submitted & signed application, then the background check consultant will not cross reference your resume when checking your transcript.
Typically, they only cross-reference a signed, electronic application you've filled out for the job when conducting background checks, not info on your resume. A lot of times HR will actually make you complete this new application AFTER you've already applied once through their website and gotten a verbal offer.
Never lie on your resume. I would add everything as per your transcript. You don't want to ever put yourself in the situation where something is not factual... also if you got the interview nobody really cares as long as you are above 3.0 (well except if you are going for consulting or they specifically ask for a number)
Looks like someone’s trying to apply with an actual 3.0gpa :D
.
If you signed an offer letter with a bank, can the bank effectively bypass you and ask the school directly for a transcript? Is there some kind of employer special granted access to see your transcript allowed by the school? Or do they always have to ask the FT employee/intern directly for the school transcript? Curious bc I am an incoming SA at an EB but I haven't been requested a transcript yet.
