Do banks ask for transcripts at the time of application?
I know that a lot of threads were made for this, but in my case though, I'm not planning on lying about my GPA. I'll be withdrawing from a single course that isn't at all related to finance. It could seriously hurt my GPA this term since I'm on track for a 4.0 in all of my major-related courses, to the point of reducing my cumulative to less than a 3.7. From what I've read, while a W looks better than a shit grade, it isn't great. I also think I have a decent enough reason for doing so. But will they even have my transcript at the time of the interview to be aware of that?
Also, I'm from a Canadian target, which is a US non-target, if that affects anything. Thanks!
Not at time of application, for me at JPM I had to provide transcripts before my superday. So when you apply its just the resume they're seeing.
I don't think they look over your classes too hard when they do see your transcript, just your GPA to make sure what you put is what you said.
So it wouldn't cheapen my entire semester significantly if they see that I had only 4 courses vs 5?
