Does this mean I got the offer?

Monkeys, I had my first round interview last two weeks ago. I then had a super day last week where I talked to groups of analyst/associates and the heads of the bank. I just got an email from the VP running the recruitment process sending an invite to speak with the head of HR on Wednesday but no indication of an offer..

Does this mean I got it in the bag? My friends are telling me so, but I don’t believe it til I see it.

would be safe to assume you get the offer. It's just subject to banks policy that they can't tell you explicit until the offer has ran through all of the internal process. Of course all these are subject to background/drug test but nonetheless congrats on the offer

Yeah, I wouldn't have been as blunt, but this guy is right. Don't start celebrating or telling people just yet.

That’s how I’m treating it. That I don’t have anything until it’s signed and done. I don’t see what else I’d be talking to hr for, iv already talked to the most senior bankers. I am hoping it’s about start date, contract, background check, etc.

This is my first job. If I do in fact get an offer on Wednesday is there anything I should know going into the discussion. Contract/salary?

How are contracts usually structured? Base pay + bonus. Do they give a %age range for where bonus usually falls?
