Dual Degree Student Unsure After Exchange Cancelled

Good Morning/Afternoon.

I'm a 5th year dual Law/Business (major in banking and finance) student with a desire to work in the financial space, particularly investment banking. I was originally studying financial management as my major but I changed to Banking and finance to be eligible for a scholarship on exchange from Australia to Singapore.

Now, due to the outbreak, my scholarship has been cancelled and I've only got 2 options as how to best finish my degree over the next 8 months.

The first is to stay enrolled in banking and finance (which has subjects on treasury management, business modelling and credit lending decisions like I would have originally studied in Singapore, but delivered online. This will rack up my HECs even more as I need to complete these extra courses to graduate.

My second option is to drop banking and finance as a major, revert back to financial management (which I have already completed, and has advanced business modelling, etc) and then enroll into honours for Law. I can complete the law honours by the end of the year, but doing a business honours isn't available until 2021.

I hope there's someone here on WSO who can give me their opinion as to whether I should stay in my major, or revert back to my old one and do a Law honours as someone who wishes to work in finance here in Australia.
