My understanding is that it's a bunch of ex-PWP partners--led by Michael Kramer--who broke off to form their own firm last year. They seem to have already secured some pretty big gigs, including representing creditors in the PR fiasco.
Looking for more insight than Google can lend me.. Thanks in advance!

dipndunk I'm not familiar with them but they were listed as an adviser to Monsanto in the $66 billion deal to be acquired by Bayer. Looking at their website they've moved beyond just RX and are definitely a boutique.

This is PW's former restructuring group. They were fired about 18 months ago because PW found out that they wanted to leave and create their own firm. I don't know much else about them, though.

Sil you're right and good catch! Reading about what went down between the bankers now at Ducera and PW is...entertaining and crazy. PW looked desperate and now they've clearly lost a major client as a result, for now.

It's a legit RX shop. Probably a notch below the LAZ/HL/PJTs of the world, but has managed to snag a lot of impressive roles.
