Econ vs Political Science
I was wondering how important your undergrad major is for IB.
My original major is IR and will probably transfer into political science at a new school from 2023 fall.
Based on looking at linkedin accounts of alumni who are working in IB, most people seemed to have majored in Econ; but double-majoring in Econ would probably mean extra years of school for me. Plus, I'm not confident in math/ econometrics, so it might lower my GPA. PS: there isn’t a business major in the school
Would it be better for me to minor in econ and focus on networking & maintaining a high GPA instead?
