EY Investment Banking (EY Capital Advisors)
I am looking to join EY's Investment Banking team in New York City. Does anyone have any insight in regards to compensation, exit opps, deal flow, hours, culture, career progression, etc.?
Small middle-market team with M&A verticals and a debt capital markets team. Comp is market for smaller middle-market banks. EY is great at retaining and promoting people internally. Culture varies by industry / product team, but on the whole positive as compared to other similarly sized groups.

I've heard IB teams at Big 4 firms pay a shitty bonus and work life balance isn't great. Many people on this forum and in my researched have complianed about this and used their Big 4 experience to lateral into other banks or do an MBA. If you don't have any other options, go for it.
