I am a lowly intern, so I really no do not have an informed decision but hypothetically, would it be stupid to take MS Houston over GS GM NY. I assume exit ops, continued deal flow, etc. are better for NY, but Houston is actual IB.

MS IBD in Houston will have much better exits than GS markets.
You don't think Houston results in being pigeonholed in energy forever? I hear mixed things about trying to exit IB coming from Houston Energy Groups.

Did you get a MS Houston superday invite? For their 2021 summer analyst program?
One is IBD one is GM. Take IBD. Pick the work you want over brand/location, especially since it's just a summer. Unless you really want NY for a reason.
Depends on what you do. If the end goal is PE/HF then MS IBD.
Sorry not up to date on the current names of the divisions — is global markets your capital markets groups, ie ECM, DCM, LevFin, etc or something else? Will share thoughts on this accordingly
