GS S&T vs Citi IBD (Which Summer Analyst Position to Choose)
Hey Monkeys,
Title pretty much says it all:
This recruiting season, I've received offers from both Citi's IBD and Goldman Sachs' S&T division - both in London
As someone who's more interested in investment banking, what factors are most important to you when choosing what would be the best for you? What are the realistic exit opps in both? Of course, if I could do the GS S&T stint and land an FT offer in their IBD, that would be great, but also extremely unlikely...
Thanks for any advice in advance
Bump
You can't compare the difference between GS vs Citi and ST vs IBD. The drop off between ST and IBD is way greater. Go to Citi IBD. Lateraling for FT from a BB IBD is miles better. Don't over think this and get blinded by the GoLdMaN name.
how about Citi S&T vs BNP Paribas IBD for NYC?
I did Citi S&T for my SA. Great role, but I would argue that it was certainly harder to recruit for IBD FT coming from S&T.
