Ah, the bonus season at Guggenheim, always a hot topic! While the context doesn't specifically mention the exact figures or dates for Guggenheim's bonuses, it's well-known in the finance community that bonus timing can vary significantly from firm to firm. Guggenheim, as noted, might be on the later end of the spectrum. This timing can be due to various factors, including fiscal year-end, performance review processes, and strategic considerations.

In the high-stakes world of investment banking, bonuses are a significant part of compensation and can reflect the firm's performance, individual contribution, and market conditions. While I can't pull out specific numbers from the hat (or from the context provided), it's clear that those in the industry pay close attention to these payouts as a measure of success and recognition.

For those at Guggenheim or eyeing it as a potential landing spot, it's crucial to network, perform, and align with the firm's goals. Remember, while the wait for bonuses might seem long, focusing on building your skills, contributing to your team's success, and understanding the broader market trends will always serve you well in the long run. And who knows, maybe the wait will be worth it! Keep an eye on the forums for any updates or insights from those in the know.

Or probably people not posting gugg isn’t a shop for top pay as it’s advertised here….

same thing with lazard haha bonuses were bad but people don’t want to share it to maintain their perception of decent pay

its not the shop for absolute top pay but dig around for threads from last year and they were certainly in the top buckets for pay, especially given the poor pay last year across the street.

e: i mean look here for the analyst bonuses across street last year (https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forum/investment-banking/2023-consolida…). gugg for example paid an2 80-110 (according to other threads, ik there are different figures in that thread so idk whatexactly is accurate) and that's higher than laz, evercore and the same as moelis.

I said my original comment because in my experience, people are quick to disclose on WSO if they feel cheated. If all good, nobody comes here to post about it.
