Im an MBA student recruiting for IB Summer Associate. I'm interested in TMT or Consumer/Retail. Both industries are competitive, but TMT probably has the highest demand. Is it better to pursue banking in C&R since it's less competitive than TMT? Is it better to target less competitive coverage groups in general in order to get an offer?
