No point in dealing with what-ifs and hypotheticals, better to just consider the worst case scenario and apply elsewhere. 

^ This should be standard tbh. Before I knew about my return offer, I was applying for additional SA and grad schemes until mine was confirmed. After I got it, I withdrew/stopped applying. Hedge your bets.
