Internship Question - Timelines

Hello Monkeys,

I hope everyone is well. Just had a quick question, can someone provide some timelines as to when is a decision made for a FT offer or not during the internship? Is it in the last week of your internship or last day? I assume every bank is different, I am interested in the BB process. When will the senior management or HR let you know that you are coming back or not?

Thank you!

There is another thread on this topic but I will summarize timelines for you. Usually your last week is basically rolling off projects and not much work happening.

During the prior week the team meets (generally the junior team, up to VP level, MDs not really involved in the process) and discusses each of the interns and ranks them. The staffer / person running the interns usually says how many offers they are looking to give out.

Then on the final day each intern meets for 30 minute sessions at designated time slots with their manager / staffer and are given or not given an offer. For those who get offers there is usually some sort of group event later that day and some of the banks have a larger end of the summer events for interns across all groups (who get offers)
