I am placing this topic in the IB section as I figured some of you might have done deals with companies located in Kingston, Jamaica.
I am doing some research on Digicel (their bonds are trading at 60c on the dollar) and was wondering if anyone here knows if a private company is required to file public financial statements when they issue bonds in the local market? Also, do you guys use a particular platform for research on privately held companies?
Any insight would be helpful, thanks.

I'd see who underwrote the deal, what law firm that company uses, and go from there.
