I jut got a first round for Fidelity’s Investment Research Associate Internship for Summer 2019 and was wondering what questions to expect/tips for the interview.

Ok, so I had the first round interview and it was mostly behavioral with the HR Director. Absolutely no technicals. She said I should hear back mid August. Not sure if superday comes next or another phone call.
Any stock pitch or brain teasers?
Nope, only behavorial questions.
Any specifics about the interview?
Quite straightforward interview. Essentially your run-of-the-mil behavioral questions (why fidelity, tell me about a time..., etc).

are all first round interviews given out already?
I received mine a little over a week ago. I’m not sure if they either sent the invites out on a rolling basis or all at once. I would assume they’re finished as the last interview is on the 14th and they wouldn’t send an invitation for it less than a week prior. I also believe superdays are in a week or two. Not sure though, but keep your hopes up.
I had a first round video interview as well. Same cookie cutter behavioral type questions as always.

I am not sure when we hear back in regards to superday. During my first round the interviewer said mid-August. Hopefully they come out soon.

I interviewed for the 2019 Investment Research internship and I had my first round last Monday.
Completed my first round a couple weeks ago. Just got an email from the interviewer (recruiter) that information about superdays should be sent out late this week early next week
Were you actually invited to superday?
Haven't heard yet. Invites go out end of this week or early next week, but I'm hoping that the recruiter reaching out to me to tell me that is a good sign. Fingers crossed.

In general, semi-target. However, Fidelity posted this position through our career services.

Yeah I got the same. My guess is they sent it out to "waitlist" candidates.
I received a rejection email after the first round; however I expected it as I applied as a Sophomore from a semi-target and was referred by a PM (that’s how I even got the first round). I think I may have a chance if I apply for Summer 2020 when I’m a Junior. Good luck to everyone!
