Recently received an FT offer to join the Jefferies SF TMT group. Deal, Comps, WLB, exit, maybe office politics with Guggenheim MDs joining. Any insights would be appreciated!
Very sweaty volume shop with software focus. does m&a ecm and levfin. solid tech focused exits for umm/mm worse than shops like bofa/barc/citi for MF looks. not worth it for the amount of hours you will be putting in but a fine place to start your career if you have nothing else

Got it so what is like the hour? Heard they have protective Sat and usually work til 12am if not too busy tho

Absolute sweatshop that churns out analysts more than deals which is hard to do.
The Guggenheim team they poached sucks
Heard the same from friends in the group which is now struggling to hire talent at all levels and has seen massive attrition including productive directors and MDs
can you elaborate? was thinking of recruiting here but sounds like a shitshow and not bullish on whoever came from Guggenheim (any insight on the people would be helpful too). are they just not integrating well into the rest of the Jeff tech team and causing attrition?
