Confused on how bonuses work and would appreciate some insight… I’m a first year analyst in a coverage group (started july 2024). Do i get a bonus in January or August? Have seen posts discussing bonuses in both months. Annoying that Jef doesnt give any insight into this… and I haven’t heard any numbers yet.

You will get your bonus in August because you are on the Analyst bonus cycle. Associate and above level is on a fiscal year end bonus cycle which pays in January. If you get promoted to Associate your bonus cycle will change to convert to the rest of the employees who aren’t Analysts.
