URGENT ! JPM Levfin/INFRA/CFA/REALIB

Deciding between these four groups for a SA at JPM NY. No interest in what they cover, (although the gaming part of REALIB sounds cool), and Infrastructure sounds horrid.

More of an exits/prestige/culture question.

Thanks!

levfin is different from the other three as it’s a product group. JPM LevFin dominates the category but exits are mainly in credit buyside. CFA exits not as good as infra or real estate. Between infra and real estate, it comes down to your interest in these sectors. Exits in these group tend to be in their respective sectors, infra to infra PE, real estate to REPE.

Not gonna lie I find it extremely hard to believe you won't get PE looks from levfin

JPM LevFin is the #1 LevFin group on the street, great culture and exposure, but one main downside: no modeling. All modeling in LevFin deal is done by coverage and as such your exits will be more capital markets oriented.

CFA is an interesting team but it’s really more of an internal consulting group. They don’t really do deals so your experience will be limited.

REALIB and Infra (assume it’s infrastructure finance and advisory?) are both great groups with great culture and solid exit options. It will really come down to your interests in each sector
