LA IB Firm List
Rising Sophomore at looking to recruit for LA banking. Based on my research, these are the current most prominent firms:
Houlihan Lokey (Rx/M&A) J.P. Morgan (Consumer Retail) Moelis (Generalist) Rothschild (Tech M&A) Citi (Mining/Metal) Perella Weinberg (Industrials)
Does anyone happen to know if there is any other great firms I’m missing or perhaps firms on this list that actually aren’t that active anymore? Thanks!
JPM “C&R” LA is ass, same with Rothschild - add Barclays FSG, Lazard A&D
"Ass" as in non existent or shitty culture? Didn't both Barclays and Lazard lose their top MDs?

Heard Rothschilds Tech team in LA is pretty solid actually, know someone who just started FT there

GS healthcare and consumer
UBS sponsors
BofA ERGC
Santander Sponsors and REGAL
Wells Fargo MM
MS Media & Communications
MS is moving/has moved all juniors from LA to NYC
Lincoln, ducera, Raine Group, Macquarie, intrepid, all have teams out here and I believe RBC may have a small team out here
RBC definitely top tier in LA imo - unmatched size/quality of mandates they've been working on in the past couple of years
