Lazard NY vs Moelis LA vs Moelis NY
Current sophomore at a west cost semi target, that has alumni at all three offices. Networking at all three firms right now and would like to gain insight on the differences between the three. I prolly want to stay in IB longer term, but would like to know about exit opps as well. Any insight would be helpful.
genuinely don’t understand these posts. Do you have an offer from any of them? no. So why are you comparing them?
yah ngl I understand from the OPs point of view to always want to be gaining info but it is also pointless if non of them give you a chance to interview.
Which ever gives u a first round interview is the best one
All fantastic. Would take Moelis on the West Coast and Lazard on the East Coast. Can't go wrong.
if u were location agnostic and wanted to recruit buyside, which would u prefer.
Laz NY and MOE LA are both great, but I’m biased since I’m at one of the two groups. If you’re happy staying on the west coast, moelis La exits are as good as it gets. Otherwise Laz Ny will get you looks anywhere (I’m the commenter above btw).
You suck
