Mid-Internship review

Fellow primates!

I am approaching my mid-internship review in the next couple of weeks and I was wondering what to expect since it is my first one? The internship has been going great, lots of good feedback, social interaction etc however, I do want to be prepared for the possibility that recruiting is probably closed for my BB for this year (given it is almost Feb) and if I'll be offered it will be for 2016.

How did your mid-internship reviews go in case you received an offer, and if you didn't - was there any indication that you were doing poorly? Was it usually with the MD or someone responsible for staffing/HR? Thanks!

Mine was HR + my line manager. HR didn´t say much and it was basically a conversation between my manager and myself. I got a form a couple of days before the meeting and I had to fill what I thought I had done well, things to improve, etc. I used that as a guide for the discussion -very straightforward and nothing I was not expecting.

If you´re feedback has been good so far, it will go well ;). I would advise you to ask if there is headcount "BC you have enjoyed yourself and your are very interested in the role bla bla bla...". Try and see where you stand for that FT offer. Also, ALWAYS ask what you can improve. There is always something regardless how well you are doing and it will show your interest in performing well.
