Moelis Exit Opps? And NY vs LA?
Will Moelis have the same exit opps as UBS LA? And which is a better place to work in terms of deal flow exposure etc besides personal preference...LA or NY Moelis?
You know this is the trading forum right?
People can speculate on Moelis' exit ops, but nothing is for sure until we see how the first analyst class does. I would assume normal boutique pro/cons compared with BB (less exposure to headhunters, etc)
I've heard LA is more established than NY and supports a tighter culture.

Wasn't able to find too much discussion on this. Historically LA has been the premier office, but the LA office seems to be cutting back, and at least size-wise NY is significantly larger. Does anyone have any knowledge about the relative strengths of both offices and how well they place their analysts in HFs and PE.
