Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't specific information about the 2025 London MSEPP program's compensation or updates on application responses. However, for similar programs, compensation can vary depending on the role and location. For reference, investment banking compensation for analysts in London typically starts around £50,000-£60,000 base, with bonuses potentially doubling that figure depending on performance and firm policies.

If you're looking for updates on application timelines or feedback from others, it might be worth checking the WSO forums regularly or starting a discussion thread to connect with other applicants.

I applied on the last day (21 Feb) on a bit of a whim, I applied two years ago and didn't get past the HR screening stage so not holding my breath.

realestatew:

Did you get sent the survey to complete? I applied two years ago too and didn’t make it past the hirevue stage.

When you say survey, do you mean the numerical/ SJT/ inductive test?

Also, how did you find the HV stage when you applied in the past? Were they mainly motivational and behavioural questions?

Also applied and received survey - following to keep up to date on any updates

Does anyone know the participating divisions in London? The resource section of the HireVue invite only mentions Morgan Stanley Institutional Securities & Investment Management, as did the title of the job positing. Still, it also includes links to IB & CM and the job description included them as participating divisions. I indicated IB & CM as preferences on the form but don't want to talk about IB/CM in the HireVue if there not an option.

The participating divisions were on the survey. IB, GCM, IM, Research and S&T. The hirevue isn’t specific to a particular division.

didn't get a confirmation of completion email but if you go to the email you got when you signed up for hirevue and click on the 'practice or interview' button, it should take you to a page that says the interview was received

I think they're sent out periodically, I wonder if they worked backwards as I applied pretty close to the deadline but seemed to get an invite pretty early compared to others.

Yeah, the job ad for the London one did say that the selection process was to have concluded by the end of April which suggests interview invites should be very soon.

I find it intriguing that on threads for the previous years of this programme, no one said that they got an offer - or at least I couldn't find any. Makes we wonder what exactly this is because usually you'd see more about it online if this programme has been running for a few years

Yeah that’s correct. Citi had a program like this in 2022/2023 called the Markets STEP Program and they never did it again lol. GS have brought their Bridge to Banking program to London yet, but it’s only for IB I believe.

Probably because the applications required every single candidate to submit a hirevue so they’ve already went through them from when apps closed in February

"To be considered, candidates must apply by Feb 21, 2025, at 23:59 GMT. All applicants will receive an update on their application by mid-March, with the selection process concluding in April." - This was from the original job description; not sure if they're still going to be able to keep to this unless it's a really rushed process (or it truly is one superday then offers).

I never knew "We will aim to be in contact with you over the coming days" is actually "wait for 2 weeks while we sort our shit out". Must be an MS thing.

Looks like no one that has done a HV has been given an update yet, but we will probably hear back this week if initial dings have just gone out.

I emailed them and they said they're still reviewing applicants and will be in touch as soon as possible. I haven't been led on this much since my ex girlfriend.

We go again next week lads and gals. Disappointing that we still haven’t heard anything lol. Enjoy your bank holiday weekend!

Yep, reached out on a couple of days ago got the exact same email we got last time.

“The team are carefully evaluating and engaging with the relevant teams to review your candidacy.  We aim to be in contact to inform you of the outcome and discuss the applicable next steps as soon as possible”
