Need Guidance, Please!! Situation with On-boarding and ethnicity selection

To give some background to my question, I attend a non-target and secured a summer ibanking internship with a buldge bracket firm through a diversity program. O the application I selected 'native american' as my ethnicity because I have a lineage of native american roots in my blood. However, and this is what i'm worried about, I don't have a tribal card or any formal documentation b/c my family is not culturally involved with the tribe anymore. Will this produce an unsatisfactory background check? will anyone ask me about it? could it lead to a rescinded offer? According to my SSN im white, but I feel perfectly okay going to native american diversity programs internally at the bank. My great grandparents were indigenous to Ohio and migrated to colorado and northern arizona about 100 yrs ago(where I grew up). Growing up we practiced a few traditions and recognized a few customs but I am worried this is not enough and I should have not put down this status down to be eligible for the application. furthermore, I look white. My grandparents look a little native, but I look pretty white. Does anyone know the diversity background process and what could come of this situation? the on-boarding hiring process at all? Will they even approach me about this? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
