Opinion on My Situation

What would you do in my situation? Essentially, I'm in a good position but I want to make sure that I'm in the best position given my background.

Spent this summer at an elite boutique (GHL, Moelis, Perella, Laz). Come from a good but not great undergrad (think Wisconsin, Indiana, Texas, Emory). My concern deals primarily with exit opportunities (doesn't it always). Placement is good where I'm at, but my concern is that the great placements seem to be reserved for those coming from schools a tier above mine and that those with my background aren't doing AS well...still very well.

From what you all know, do any of these places tend to place very well regardless of UG school or at least do a better job in combating the lower tier school stigma?

This is pretty standard. None of those places, to my knowledge, will place the lights out universally. You need to look at the top tier groups (MS M&A, GS TMT / FIG, BX M&A / R&R) to overcome the stigma, and to be honest, the Ivy kids still tend to do better in those groups too, though literally everyone ends up crushing anyway.
