Has anybody heard from PJT's Strategic Advisory about first round interviews and Superdays?
Applied in March and updated app in June, but haven't heard anything since. Interested in NY and SF offices.
Also applied at the end of June, but haven't heard anything yet.
Also what's the next step after applying online?
Applied mid-June to Park Hill RE, nothing back yet other than a confirmation from an alum
Contacts in strategic advisory said interviews should be happening early-mid August
Apologies for the somewhat unrelated question, but does anyone know if PJT recruits for FT analysts or do they get everyone from their SA crop?

So, I submitted an app maybe two weeks ago for SA 2020 PJT Partners. A recruiter sent me an email letting me know to make sure to fill out the profile which idk if that's a good sign or not. Really hoping to at least get a first round.

what do you mean done? i spoke with a director today who forwarded my resume to HR so I think they're still rolling... but he could have been misinformed to be honest
Might be a stupid question but how were you able to update your app? Cant seem to find the option to do so.

Got the first round today. It's a skype first round. Interviewers had to pick a time slot on either Aug 1st, 2nd, 6th, or 7th.

Just heard back from Secondary Advisory. First-round virtual interviews going from this Friday till all of next week

rising sophomore here. since Rx at the EBs are typically accelerated/independent process, how does it work if you interview for RSSG but don't get it, and you want to try for Strategic Advisory? Should you reach back out to RSSG people you networked/interviewed with, or do you begin reaching out to Strategic Advisory? & how do banks view students that do this?
You can recruit for both at the same time, get superdays, and offers for both. You can pick what you want
What's your story during interviews and networking though? Your interests will seem divided and the "Why this group" won't be as effective. Apart from super-star candidates that banks are fighting over, wouldn't this hurt the average candidate?
