Public finance is probably more direct

But what are you covering in corporate banking? Is it something you would enjoy more?

When I was starting I interviewed with every banking group on the street, now that I am into the job I would probably rather have taken Tech Corporate banking over public finance...

Just depends what you want

I received an offer from JPM for a summer internship. It’s a rotational program, but they have leveraged finance/syndicated finance/financial sponsors rotations within the program. The other offer is from a MM like Jefferies. I am really not sure which one to pick as I know public finance is more direct. However, it also sounds like I would get more of a corporate IB type of experience within JPM’s commerical bank.
