anyone know how important networking is for FT?
Pretty sure it's not involved in the process - run by a third party.
10.1.3Sure, to get the interview it might be worthless. But say you get the interview and didn’t network, and are competing against some other kid who is as sharp as you and did network. Who’s getting the offer?

PWP is very, very competitive. I’d expect networking to be a must, unless you have a seriously strong resume.

Just got my interview. Does anyone know how PWP exits to VC?
How much did you network at the firm?
Pretty sure first rounds are this week. Had mine earlier in the week. 45 mins 1/2 technical , 1/2 behavioral. Said I would hear back about superday towards the end of the week or Monday. Superdays I believe are in two weeks. If I don’t hear anything back by tonight I’m guessing I probably won’t get SD invite.
Mine was only 30 minutes, hope that is not a bad sign also they said I would hear back within a week
Rip to everyone who hasn't heard from them lol. Companies need to do a better job of letting people know if they aren't moving forward a lot sooner so people can forget about it... @HR isn't hard to send an automated email hahaha

Had my first round on Friday and heard back a few hours later about the SD.

SDs are on the 10th & 13th. Last slot for first rounds was Saturday 8/7. However, they were still having a few first rounds this week for strong candidates. Source: Darthmouth Partners
Had an interview on Monday 8/9, Dartmouth said I'd find out about SD invite later this week/early next

It depends on location Im pretty sure. NYC is generalist but they other locations are division specific

This will be very competitive, PWP is a top shop. My friend took PWP Restructuring over MS Consumer.
