Quit playing games with my heart, Goldman Sachs
I'm a summer analyst candidate and had my superday on Wednesday, Aug 19. Today I asked my recruiting coordinator when I can expect to hear feedback, and she said probably next week or so. I can't go through this waiting game for potentially another 2 weeks! Why must you torture me, Goldman? If you're gonna reject me, JUST DO IT NOW.
I remember my GS superday. I can still see the look on the other non-target kid's face right before I choked the last breath of life out of him. From the depths of the combat pit, I looked over my shoulder to Lloyd who was taking in the spectacle from the balcony as he bellowed "Finish him!" I waited for two weeks to hear back, while replaying the the whole sordid ordeal in my head over and over again. Eventually, I was told by HR that a Goldman candidate worth his salt wouldn't have needed Lloyd's blessing to finish the job. God, how I wish I could take that day back and demonstrate more initiative in my murdering of that state school kid.
