Did you get hirevue for ft or sa from Raymond James?
Sa
bump
I did the RJ HireVue for FT yesterday, it was not similar to the GS version for a few reasons.
Instead of 30 seconds to 'prepare' you have only 5 (much better imo as that's how a natural face-to-face interview works)
Instead of 2 minutes across the board, time limits for answers were 3-5 min for the spoken responses giving you ample time to answer and also encouraging you to manually stop when finished
Instead of an obnoxious list of bullets that "your answer should cover," RJ simply had the question (again, much more natural)
RJ had a question with a visual asking for a written response
RJ also gave an opportunity to make additional comments about the process, unlike Goldman
Overall it was much better and more natural experience than the GS version. Imagine this, you walk into an interview and the interviewer asks you a question, then pauses, says "your answer must cover X, Y, Z, and Q," then you freeze and stare at each other for 30 seconds saying nothing, then you're allowed to answer. That's how the GS one is. I'm not sure if they meant to make it awkward on purpose, but it sure as hell is
I hated the RJ HireVue. I went in expecting 30 seconds to prepare and the 5 seconds threw me off. The way they phrased their "story" question also didn't sit well with me - would have much rather had the typical "Give us your background" phrased question.
Blockhead, can you elaborate on the types of questions on the HireVue interview? Are they more Fit, Technical or both?
Thanks!
It was a while ago at this point, but it was a mixture of both, not significantly different to a first round phone interview.
.
Hey, i hope you did well on the interview. Would you be so kind to share the questions asked not the Hirevue? Thanks in advance.
Bump.
What questions did people get asked? Technicals, fit, both? How long did your interview take and how long did it take for you to hear back?
Can u pls kindly share yr experience? :)
