Resume forwarded to HR

I cold emailed an MD at a BB recently, in a networking attempt. I was able to tell that she opened my email 13+ times between 10 AM and 1 PM. I was kind of confused because I hadn't received a response. Then at 1 PM, I received an email from an HR representative saying that the BB MD forwarded my interest and that I should monitor the Career Portal and update the HR contact on any progress.

For reference, I have experience in the coverage group industry (PE and Investment Fund at School) that this MD works in and said as much in the email. Also, probably the most genuine cold email I've written, considering there wasn't a connection. (don't roast please)

I saw a post a while back that said that this happens and that it's considered the same as no response. Is that true? The whole 13 opens on my email, and the keep HR contact updated threw me off.

This BB does have a hirevue if that matters.

Pretty sure there's a previous post on this subject, but I couldn't find it. So sorry if this is redundant.
