I would just be curious what the factors are for the rankings. I think the list as a whole contains a lot of good names and none really stand out as why that one.
Stated on the appendix:
Our Ideal Employer report is based on the replies to our Ideal Employer survey, which ran in the third quarter of 2023. We received 7,493 individual responses, for which we are very grateful. Each survey respondent was asked a small number of qualifying questions regarding their location, role, current employer, age, race, and gender. They were then asked to choose two employers they viewed as ideal. Each of these two Ideal Employers they were then asked to rate on a scale of 1 to 10 for the following qualitative statements:
• This company pays very well. • This company pays very fairly. • This company offers interesting work. • This company has exceptional colleagues. • This company offers work with meaning. • This company offers a good long-term career. • This company has a good long-term future. • This company has a good long-term future in my business area. • This company is a place for people like me. • This company is a place that allows minorities to thrive. • This company is a place of integrity. • This company cares about its employees. • This company employs people who are kind. • This company will give me time to enjoy life outside work. • This company is good for flexible work. • This company is good for hybrid working. • This company will be good for my health.
Efinancial careers is a running joke and you are the trackway
When I think boutique bank, I think of a bank that offers only advisory generally, not full-service banks. I think most people would agree with this?
Based on that, lumping in full-service MM banks like Blair, Lincoln, Oppenheimer and Baird with the banks I consider more "traditional" boutiques is interesting.
Yah agreed some of those are MM banks being put together with Boutiques
efinancialcareers literally stinks.
Fun fact: efinancialcareers, that is the website, use to be owned by DHI Group, which itself was a portfolio company of General Atlantic
Congrats on Lincoln!
