TMT bankers, how do you learn about software?

I am highly interested in learning more about software and eventually joining a PE / growth equity / VC firm focused on software. What are your best tips for learning about the software industry and software investing? I would be very thankful for recommendations on books, podcasts, blogs etc.

PM me for a saas equity research primer. The best one I have come across is the BAML software Handbook. It breaks down each vertical (analytics, cybersecurity, infrastructure, etc.) and is written in a way that's very easy to digest

Could you please share w me as well? Thanks so much!
